Midlands meet the Tall Ship Lord Nelson

As part of the Centenary celebrations Girlguiding UK has hired the tall ship “The Lord Nelson” from the Jubilee Sailing Trust to go around the UK in 10 weeks. As the Midlands are the only region not to have any coast line we are meeting the Lord Nelson in London.

A 20 day trip (in 4 trips of 5 days) from the Midlands to London (return) on a
narrowboat in order to meet the Lord Nelson.

The Lord Nelson has been hired by Girlguiding UK as part of the centenary celebrations and as the Midlands have never been known to miss a party we plan to meet the ship in London.

The trip is for adults and will be used to advertise Girlguiding as the boat wends
its way through the picturesque English countryside.
