Rhona Trust - London Sailing Project

The Rhona Trust's objective is to give young people the opportunity to enjoy a life changing experience through the sea.

They have offered 10 places on the Helen Mary R (a bowman 57') which will sail with a total crew of 16, this includes the skipper and watch officers.

The voyages are hard work because everyone has to do the cooking, cleaning and sailing of the yacht - on what may not be a stable platform.

The dates are Thursday 27th August to Wednesday 2nd September. The cost is £100 per person which includes the use of the relevant safety equipment and waterproofs.

As the boat is based in Southampton the total cost will probably only be £150 which would include the train journey to Southampton and pocket money. This is a fantastic price for a weeks sailing.
