Crafts at Unity 2010

WOW !!! This is the ‘Buzz’ word in Staffordshire as we look forward to celebrating the Centenary of Girlguiding U.K. at our International Camp – Unity 2010. This will be held in the grounds of Shugborough Hall from 31st July until 7th August. Would you like to meet and share your craft skills with girls and their Leaders from all corners of the world? We would be delighted to welcome you even if you could only come for one session.

Craft sessions will be held on four days during the week from 10am to 12 noon and 2pm to 4pm for the Guides and on two evenings from 7.30pm for Leaders and other adults. We are looking for instructors for all types of craft suitable for girls between the ages of ten and fifteen years.

If you are not able to join us, you may know of someone who would be willing to share their craft on this occasion. They do not need to be a Member of Girlguiding U.K. but everyone attending Unity will need to undergo a C.R.B. (Criminal Records Bureau) check through Girlguiding U.K. prior to the camp.

Please complete the form here and return it to me as soon as possible, preferably by e-mail. I can then ensure that we have sufficient instructors for the large number of Guides we are expecting and allow time to complete all C.R.B. checks where necessary.

I will contact all craft volunteers again with the final details during May or June.
