Moorside District Thinking Day

On Saturday 23rd February, 65 Leaders, Guides, Brownies and Rainbows went to Cheddleton Community Centre for their Thinking Day water themed activities followed by a breakfast using FairTrade products.

The activities included, comparing the taste of bottled and tap water, cleaning up muddy water, and completing fact sheets about water in your body and the rain water cycle. There were also parachute games with a water theme.

After the activities the girls enjoyed a well earned rest and tucked into a breakfast which included, cereals and fruit juices, followed by toast, bananas and hot chocolate using Fair Trade products where possible.
