Girlguiding Staffordshire’s 90th Birthday Badge

It was great that every Division participated in the competition to design a badge, with 307 entries from 41 Units.

The badge is now on sale: 80 pence each, and can be ordered from Sue Smith, County Secretary at County HQ.

Cheques should be made payable to: Staffordshire Guide Association.

The final badge design includes something from each of the winners’ entries.

The following are the competition winners, who will be given a badge:

• Rainbow: Harshini Muthukrishan, 1st Berkswich Rainbows
• Brownie: Gemma Begley, 4th Gnosall Brownies and Rachel Louise Seddon, 10th Rugeley Brownies
• Guide: Elizabeth Brown, 1st Stonydelph Guides and Emma Morris, 1st Stonydelph Guides
• Senior Section: Jessica Lobo, 1st Tamworth Rangers and Lauren Bailey, Young Leader/ 23rd Stafford Guides
• Adult: Susan Johnson-Smith, Division Commissioner for Girlguiding Tamworth Division
• Trefoil Guild: Olga Gladys Collins, Lichfield Trefoil Guild
