Disneyland Paris - Centenary Celebration - Kingsley Holt Rangers

To celebrate 100 years of Guiding, Kingsley Holt Rangers, along with Brownies, Guides, and other Senior Section members, went on a trip to Disneyland Paris with Venture Abroad. I’m sure I can speak for everyone, when I say that this was such a brilliant experience and opportunity!

We all spent an enjoyable and exciting day in the Disneyland Park: meeting all the Disney characters; getting autographs; taking lots of photographs; but most of all, creating memories to last forever! What a way to celebrate the Guiding Centenary!

The Centenary celebrations took place in the evening, in a room packed full of excited Brownies, Guides, and Senior Section girls of all ages. A selection of units participated in this event, dancing and singing on stage. Our Kingsley Holt Rangers unit performed the well known song, Princess Pat, getting the whole audience to join in with the singing and actions. The atmosphere of the night was buzzing; a real celebration for the amazing 100 years! Each and every girl renewed their promise outside a beautifully lit up Disney castle, as a perfect way to end the Centenary weekend away.
