County Heritage Project
A display is being prepared depicting the heritage
of Girlguiding
in Staffordshire over the last 100 years.
The display will travel around the county from September 2009
spending about three weeks at a time in public locations such as
libraries and visitor centres.
Locations agreed so far are libraries in Burton, Stafford, Lichfield,
South Staffs, Chasewater Railway Centre, and the Staffordshire
County Show 2010.
We are looking for other venues – if you can help, please contact
the County Office on 01889 270757.
The aim is to allow the public and our members to understand
the success we have had over the past 100 years and to challenge
some perceptions of Girlguiding today.
On the next page you will see the headings for each of the six parts that will
make up the exhibition.
If you can help or want to organise an exhibition for your own area please
