SWITZERLAND 2011 GROUP GET-TOGETHER
BROOK HOUSE, BURTON
25-27 MARCH 2011

We arrived on the Friday night, and after only meeting once before, started to find out more about each other.

We got given our camp uniform, which meant the leaders didn’t have an excuse not to mixed us up, and call us the wrong names!

We discussed what we would like to get out of the trip, and how we thought we’d benefit from the experience.

After a late night, chatting, on Saturday we presented the international activity we had prepared to everyone, including activities, were we had to match countries, and famous people, cities, and food together.

Where we had to sing silly songs and make penguins, which turned out like monsters and aliens.

That night, we were to make our own pizzas for tea, and we had to buy the ingredients ourselves. So off to the supermarket we went!

It took us ages to find the tinned pineapple- you wouldn’t believe!

We wandered back to Brook House, where we were staying, and got to work on our masterpieces…

Emily, one of the leaders taking us, took 2 of us girls down to the local chippy, and to feed 17 girls, we brought 5 large chips, needless to say, we had a few left over!

That night, we talked about what kind of activities and places we’d like to do, and visit, particularly Bern, and Our Chalet, where we plan to go.

The whole group also has its heart set on visiting a Swiss Cheese Factory, where they make cheese!- this could end up being the highlight of our trip!!

We talked about the charter, guidelines for our trip, how we would like things to happen, what how we want to run the trip.

The next morning, we had some more of the activities that we had prepared and started to get ready to go home.

We have planned to meet up again, before we go, but we all can't wait, and are all so excited!
