Details of a number of resources to help leaders introduce girls to topical global issues at weekly meetings are available on the Girlguiding UK website (Click here to log into the Members' Area and GO!/Activities).
Midland Region International Yearbook Challenge:
Learn about your sisters around the world and have some fun too, with the International Yearbook. Its 62 pages contain hundreds of challenges (skills, games, recipes, crafts etc) from all around the world, and include ideas for all Sections. A special souvenir badge is also available if you can complete at least one challenge from each month within a year.

Badge work:
There are lots of badge opportunities for Brownies, Guides and Senior Section members that have an international theme.
For Brownies there are the World Culture, World Guiding, World Issues and World Traveller badges. For details of what the brownies have to do for each of these badges please see the Badges section of the Brownie website.
