Centenary Brownie Holiday

Our intrepid Shipmates (Brownies) and their trusty Crew Members (Leaders) along with a number of Cabin Boys (Young Leaders) set sail for Treasure Island on a very wet and windy evening in November 2009.

The journey was very choppy and many had a long and difficult sailing to our venue.

However, the next morning our 650 Shipmates were up and ready for an adventure, even though our main venue had been "shipwrecked" during the evening due to weather and was out of use.

Guiding spirit to the fore, we adapted the programme and our pirates enjoyed a full weekend of activities with a pirate theme.
