In June this year a total of £100 was raised by the 4th Burton Brownies to donate to the charity Make a Wish.

A Bingo evening was arranged with a raffle, which was attended by families of the Brownies. 

The charity was chosen as one of the Brownies has a Brother who suffers from an illness and recently his wish was granted by the charity Make a Wish so he and his family went to Euro Disney for a wonderful holiday.   

Brown Owl Kerry-Ann Roe said: “When one of my Brownies suggested that we hold an event to raise money for Make a Wish how could we refuse?

"Being a Brownie is about thinking of others before yourself and this certainly proved that the girls in 4th Burton unit are doing so. 

"We have been sent a certificate and it will be put proudly on display."
